We are committed to rescuing, restoring and preserving properties with discretion and simplicity, to meet modern needs yet retain the features and character of both their natural surroundings and the cultures in which they are situated.
With a love of architecture and of nature, coupled with a self belief in our vision in understanding the potential of properties, with or without buildings, in need of restoration we are dedicated in working to achieve their potential as spaces and areas of harmony for private and public use.
Building, renovating restoring and decorating Hotel La Residencia in Deia, twenty years ago, as a village hotel project, gave us a community base from which we have spread to other various house and farm projects.
With more in the works, this portfolio represents present functioning houses which we are proud to share with you.

In the beautiful and fertile Soller Valley, surrounded by olive groves, this large and very impressive old stone country house with its 50 acres of land and gardens, is situated in the foothills between the town of Soller and its Port.
The estate was created from an olive oil producing farm dating from the early 17th century and benefiting from its fortunate geographic position, known for its early spring vegetables as well as its oranges and oil.
With loving and attentive restoration, the last 30 years have seen Son Salas transform to a family home with deep soul and meaning and then on to an established historic house offering peace and respite to those who find their way to its courtyard door.
Son Salas is entered by its wooden door, through the stone arch dated 1716, to its original cobblestone courtyard with palms, banana and kentias.
The house is built around the courtyard and the first central kitchen connects the courtyard through to the terraces on the front of Son Salas, with views to the Teix. The open plan kitchen serves both courtyard and terraces, and has a traditional fireplace corner for the autumn evenings with stacks of wood from the olive pruning.
On through to the oil press, or Tafona, which has been discretely converted to a very dramatic dining room, with wooden floor, large fireplace and the original oil press stone pieces of the Son Salas oil press.
The dining room flows gracefully to a double living room area with doors then leading out to the front terraces.
The swimming pool of Son Salas is discretely placed within the terraced landscape of the front south of the house and is surrounded by grass and olive trees with carob and banana. The large pool of 16m by 6.5m, with its tooled stone border, is naturally chlorinated by salt.
Overlooking the pool, the summer kitchen of Son Salas, is a very complete outdoor kitchen with barbecue and with WiFi. This is a covered porch area including a large table and views to the pool and is ideal both lunch and evening during the warm Spanish months.
Another complete kitchen, in the lower living areas of Son Salas, is the catering kitchen. This kitchen, with its own entrance to the front of the house, is used for large catering events, kitchen and food demonstrations and all special meals. It is suited for catering to the dining room , the front terraces and the courtyard.
Son Salas has many spacious bedrooms, all with Spanish poster beds and bathrooms with marble or traditional ceramics. Many people can be accommodated very comfortably. The house affords itself to different configurations of family and friends, with various apartments/wings of the house which may either be used or closed without disturbing its integrity.
There is a very lovely Master Suite with a large bedroom, a communicating bedroom and bathroom if necessary, a library/salon, full marble bathroom and walk in dressing area.
There is a second Master Suite; an apartment with its own separate entrance, a kitchen with a living area, marble bathroom and doors leading out to the pool terrace.
Son Salas has an evening room with a cinema and with a pool table, in combination. There is a healthy stock of DVDs and although all are encouraged to bring the newest releases, the old classics have a value (!).
The house itself is filled with Spanish antiques and lovely carpets, with original artworks of both local and international artists.
There is a collection of ceramics.
Son Salas has a piano and various library corners. There is a simple office area within the house as well as WiFi and satellite televisions. There is also a bar area, near the central kitchen.
The property has an excellent tennis court a short walk through the olive grove with spectacular views over the valley and town of Soller and complete with a casita including showering facilities and fridge.
For sea swimming the guests may enjoy the privilege of using the access of Lluc Alcar,i where the clients of La Residencia swim, approximately ten minutes away. The gardener will provide the guests with their passes.
The town of Soller offers many bars and cafés. It has newsagents, a post office, many small shops and a market square offering an open air market on Saturdays. There is a healthy eclectic mix of internationals and locals.
The Port of Soller has boats and kayaks, windsurfing and pedal boats. With the new approach through the tunnel and the reclaimed front promenade, there are various cafés and restaurants newly established with terraces on the sea front.
The picturesque Cala of Deia has two fisherman restaurants, one also remaining open for summer evenings.
Other restaurants include the excellent Bens D´Avall, Es Rincon de Teix in Deya, Sebastian´s in Deya, and El Olivo in La Residencia, Deya.

Built in the late 1700s with hand worked stone from its site, and in a position known for its sun and classic panoramas, the historic house originally housed a nobleman and his staff.
After very extensive and dedicated restoration work and the addition of a west wing providing a new modern kitchen area with sea view terraces and a special suite, the Mansion has become one of the most comfortable large homes on the Island of Hydra.
